By further enhancing the benefits of the common-rail fuel system, we have achieved a reduction in white smoke levels at start-up without the aid of air heaters in the QSC8.3 model. The QSC8.3 engine is quiet at idle and emits virtually no smoke.
After thousands of hours of testing and research, CMD has developed and fine-tuned its engines with features that will meet customers’ expectations in terms of the performance delivered by their engine.stainless steel piping system improves the durability of the seawater cooling circuit. A new polymer belt guard eliminates corrosion. Lube and fuel filters can be installed on either side of the engine for even easier maintenance.
